Day 2: Rabat ⇢ Chefchaouen

After a delicious breakfast at your hotel/riad, we will start our journey towards Chefchaouen, a beautiful town in the Rif Mountains of northern Morocco. The drive from Rabat to Chefchaouen takes around four hours, and along the way, you’ll pass through stunning landscapes of rolling hills and picturesque villages.

Upon your arrival in Chefchaouen, you’ll check-in at your hotel/riad and have some leisure time to explore the city and its famous blue-painted streets. Next, you’ll continue on to a cedar forest in the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you’ll watch some Barbary apes. After that, you’ll have lunch at a restaurant along the way before continuing to the Ziz Valley, known for its oasis full of palm trees.

In the afternoon, you’ll reach the desert and begin your authentic camel caravan across the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. As you trek through the desert, you’ll stop to watch a golden sunset from a high dune. Then, you’ll continue to your luxury camp in the desert.
